Room Redo: Sneak Peek.

I have decided it is time, now that Ethan is two...to start on his big boy room.

Because I am in full time nursing school, it is not a surprise that we are a bit tight on money. I promised my husband that I would not go wild and I would work mostly with what we already had. Lord knows I would love to just march on in to Hobby Lobby and feverishly shove everything into my cart that I desire. Self control and willpower, Kristina...self control and willpower. I stuck to that promise and haven't spent much AT ALL. Maybe $50 to redo his entire room, including paint and brushes.

I still have a few more things to put together, but I can't wait to show you the final product. I am so happy with it.

And while we are on the topic of frugality, let's observe the shoes I got the other day at my favorite: Goodwill! "You buy shoes from Goodwill?" Yes, yes I do. This was my first go 'round at it, but I couldn't resist. I brought them home, gave them a good scrub down with 50 some Lysol wipes and they were good to go:

3 whole dollars. Love.

And last but not least, my child is as cranky as they come this morning. Good God! What a lovely start to the weekend...
