"Best Ever" Banana Muffins.

That's what the recipe card says--"Best Ever."  And they pretty much are. My mom gave me this recipe and I make them all of the time. I love them. Ethan loves them. Ofir loves them. Score!

They are super easy and fast. Oh, and scrumptious:

"Hello golden-brown deliciousness!"

Now, make sure you start with super ugly bananas. Like, you'd be embarrassed to be seen with them in public, ugly. Like this ugly:

The uglier, the better :)

Ingredients:
3 large bananas (hideous one's, remember now.)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup melted butter

Mash bananas. Add the sugar and slightly beaten egg and mix well. Add the melted butter. Add the dry ingredients (you could sift the dry ingredients to make sure you get all he lumps out. I, on the other hand, do not have a sifter, so I just wisk them together in a seperate bowl to break any lumps up before adding it to the wet ingredients), mix it on up and cook for 22 minutes at 375 degrees.

This makes about 12 muffins. You could probably put this in a bread loaf thingy, but I don't know how it would affect the time. Just watch it like a hawk and I am sure it would be fine.

This time I added some cinnamon in there. You could add nuts, chocolate chips, blueberries...this list goes on and on. Make it your own! :)

Enjoy!

  1. Wouldn't you know .. I've got some bananas that look exactly like that leftover from the banana pudding! Hmm .. I'm thinking these are on the agenda for this evening!

  2. Would you like me to post yet ANOTHER comment on this entry?! I FINALLY wrote this recipe down so that I don't have to keep referring back to this post whenever I make them. I seriously bought bananas specifically to let them get nasty so I could make these. Bahahaha. PS: Thanks for making labels so that it was super easy to find!
