While my husband is out of the house having a guys night, I am here. Sitting at the computer. I love sitting at the computer. I love reading blogs, finding recipes and being an all-around voyerist.
Anywho, the weather has been gorgeous here in good 'ol Florida. Yesterday, Ethan and I went down to St. Augustine to visit my mom. We decided to head to the beach while we were down there. Let me tell you. I love the beach. It's the umbrella. Rachel touched on this a bit a few weeks ago and I couldn't agree more. The giant, colorful fantasticness of an umbrella makes the beach a joyous experience for me. You see, I used to hate the beach because I hated the water. Sharks and other sorts of sea creatures scare me, so I never went in the water. Due to the fact that I never went in the water, I always got disgustingly hot. Ew. Miserableness. BUT when you have an umbrella, folks, the temperature is about 20 degrees cooler underneath. So, we laid on our reclining beach chairs (under the umbrella, don't forget) and watched Boo play in the sand. And when it was time to take him in the water, it was half-way up my shin. I can handle half-shining it. Great whites will not attack me in 7 inches of water. At least I hope not...
It's my new favorite place. And I'm not even kidding.

The flowers in my yard are blooming and I didn't have to to a damn thing to them. Love that.

I'm so thrilled you love the beach now! I'm tellin' you .. that umbrella is a LIFESAVER. I don't go into the water anymore now, either .. after you know, I almost drowned. No bueno!
