Rondezvous.

I love that word. Rondezvous. It's always one of those words that I have to separate out mentally to remember how to spell it: "Ron-dez-vous." Like bus-i-ness and oh, Wed-nes-day.  Don't you? Mmm hmm. I thought so ;)

Moving on.

We went on a little mini vaca this weekend. Our friend Kevin's family owns a lovely vacation home down in Jupiter, FL and we were invited to come along for a few days. So pretty there! I neglected to take pictures of anything other than my child. Take a look:

Oh WAIT! I did take pictures of something else important...FOOD! Hehe! We made a fantastic dinner on Saturday night. We had amazing steaks and baked potatoes, prepared by my brother and I made corn on the cobsters and helped with the appetizer :)

This was a killer spicy tomato soup shot adorned with a adorable mini grilled cheese. My brother Drew made the soup (incredible!) and I made the sandwich slivers. YUMM! I can't even take credit for the awesome presentation. All Drew :)

Hello copious amounts of delicious sea salt. If you don't eat the skin of a crispy baked potato, you are missing out, my friend. Eat it. You won't regret it.

Hello gorgeous grill marks.

It was a nice getaway for the weekend! The house was amazing and the area was gorg as well. Too bad it's 4 hours away. Otherwise, I would be trespassing more frequently :)

Hope you all had a great weekend too!

Now go enjoy those that you love!

  1. Way to go with the presentation, Drew!

I totally bought sea salt at Publix Friday. And then proceeded to put lots and lots of it in my potato soup. Oh, and I ate all of the skins off of the red potatoes I used to make the soup. YUM, is right!

E is presh. That is all.
